A passing score is 75% or greater for all exams. Students have a time limit to complete the exam, which varies depending on the exam.

IICRC exams are multiple-choice, and most are closed-book and closed-notes. Some exams, such as the Health and Safety Technician exam, are open-book. Your course instructor will discuss the exam requirements and time limit during class.

How to Prepare for the IICRC Exam

Students attend an IICRC-approved course to prepare them to take the corresponding exam. During the course, instructors will teach the course topics, which will be covered on the exam. Study Tips for Success

The main tip for a successful exam is to pay attention during class, ask questions, and ensure you understand all the topics being taught! LearnToRestore.com instructors will come early and stay late to provide any extra assistance you may need to ensure you understand and answer any questions you have.

Each course also has an accompanying manual with the information from the course. Students are encouraged to read the manual before taking the exam.
